Portugal Kitchen
To create a sensational kitchen for our client’s new build villa in Portugal, we set out to retain the generous sense of space and light. Drawing from our Scottish Elm stocks, we introduced warm, characterful tones that brought natural elegance into the heart of the home.
Bridge of Alan Kitchen
Our challenge was to design a small kitchen with a spacious working area, maximising the abundance of natural light streaming through a full-height glass wall while complementing the architectural character of the 1960s home. To enhance brightness, we chose Ash, a light-reflecting timber that brings warmth and openness to the space.
The Norway Kitchen
This kitchen needed to be the heart of the home: a space designed for passionate chefs, with appliances strategically placed beyond standard domestic layouts and a central workstation for effortless functionality. Featuring a striking combination of elm and stainless steel, the design is both contemporary and warm, balancing sleek modernity with natural character. At the same time, it had to create a soft, atmospheric feel, seamlessly blending the kitchen, dining, and social areas into a welcoming hub for cooking, gathering, and everyday living.
Bells Kitchen
Our client envisioned a kitchen that was both highly functional and inviting—featuring central seating for social gatherings, a luxurious deep colour palette, and a seamless transition into the new extension to create a cohesive living space.
Glenfiddich Maltbarn Bar
The design allows guests to enjoy exclusive site-specific malts, with an upper-level meeting area, reception space, and a restaurant, all seamlessly integrated into the historic setting.
The Moyett Kitchen
Set within a 200-year-old farm, this project embraced the building's original character, including its thick stone walls and small windows, all while contending with the challenges of the surrounding countryside. Our aim was to introduce a contemporary feel that complemented, rather than contrasted with, the existing architectural style.
The Jackson Kitchen
To complete the transformation, we exposed an internal brick wall, which added character, and enhanced the lighting with lime-oiled Elm accents, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.
Old Farmhouse Kitchen
