Our client’s brief:

Introducing our first-ever Shou Sugi Ban timber kitchen.

Charred cabinets, corten steel splashback, bronze detailing. This is a space built on contrast - raw and refined, dark and light-filled.

Every detail reflects how our clients live, cook, and gather. The pantry wall came down to open the layout entirely, and what emerged is a kitchen built around real life. A dedicated herb and veg area, full-height storage with a moveable ladder and rail, integrated appliances, and bespoke random-sized display shelving with a tea gantry.

At the heart of it all - an elm island with a butcher’s block. The kind of piece a room is built around.

Every detail considered. Every material chosen with intention. Designed with the client at the centre - from first conversation to final finish.
