Our client’s brief:

A Contemporary Church Interior Rooted in Tradition

The layout and furniture of a modern church must meet the needs of its congregation and the wider community, while honouring its history and values.

Paul worked closely with the minister and congregation to design and craft a new pulpit, lecterns, font, and a three-part chancel. The circular stained glass window inspired the layout-in-the-round and informed the chancel’s form.

Each piece was handcrafted in elm and glass, shaped by the congregation’s desire for a space that reflects their faith - combining skilled artisanship and transparency with the enduring presence of traditional elements.
