Our client’s brief:
Our challenge was to design a small kitchen with a spacious working area, maximising the abundance of natural light streaming through a full-height glass wall while complementing the architectural character of the 1960s home. To enhance brightness, we chose Ash, a light-reflecting timber that brings warmth and openness to the space.
Blending elements from our Penpont and Norway styles, we tailored the design to harmonise with the home’s mid-century architecture. The natural tones and textures from our Natural Collection seamlessly integrate with the surrounding landscape, creating a kitchen that feels effortlessly connected to the outdoors.
Another standout feature of this particular kitchen is the island worktop, which includes a bespoke resin inlay with acorns, adding a unique, organic detail that ties the interior even more closely to nature.
