Trophies

Paul Hodgkiss has been commissioned to design and handcraft bespoke trophies and awards for a number of businesses, organisations and charities.

Thousands of children and adults have been helped by Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland since 1996. Paul Hodgkiss has been involved in providing hand crafted wood & silver awards and support since 1998.

Founded in 2001 by the fashion stylist and public relations guru Kelly Cooper Barr. Usually one woman is credited for her outstanding achievements in her field but this year, to mark the 10th anniversary of the annual event, which so far has raised £657,000 for Action for Children Scotland. A “Perfect Ten” influential women were named. Paul Hodgkiss has been involved in providing hand crafted wood & glass awards and support since 1998.

The Award Programme supports employers and employees to develop health promotion and safety themes in the workplace in a practical, logical way that’s beneficial to all. Award plaques are designed and made by Paul Hodgkiss at his workshop in Glasgow. Each plaque is individually made and handcrafted to enhance the beauty of the natural wood. The name of the organisation receiving the plaque is engraved on the central glass panel. Plaques are supplied with indentations on the back, so that they can be hung on walls using hooks, and with legs which simply slot into the wooded side panels so that they can stand on a table or in a display cabinet.

Paul Hodgkiss Designs was honoured to win this award in 2004. The Balvenie Artisan Awards scheme is aimed at individuals or business in Scotland that have a commitment to the preservation and advancement of traditional skills, and who reflect these skills by producing and marketing products of the very highest quality. Paul Hodgkiss has been involved in providing hand crafted wood & silver awards and support since 2005.
