Dewar’s

To design and build a pop up bar for the client to take to road shows and events. The design was to reflect the company brand and namely the life of Tommy Dewar.

Based on an old desk of Tommy Dewar, inspired by his travels and the clients functions including the system of packing and travel. Paul created two globes, turned out of character elm with all the spaces filled with clear resin, these spaces had artefacts floating within resin pockets. The globes are fitted on an axis within the bar top allowing them to be turned. These along with drawers that clients can open and look at barley and other materials all have received great response. Laser engraving on the bar top depict a time line between the two globes. The bar, made from solid oak will age well adding to the feel and authentic aged look.
