Client: Dowhill Farm, Girvan
Client Brief & Solution:
To design an interior that would relate to the surrounding area, mainly its coastal position. An interior that would leave a lasting memory of both the interior and the products for sale.
Paul used the driftwood from the adjancent beach, this he knew would make the experience one that would be enjoyed by the customers bearing in mind that the majority were tourists.
Driftwood cleverly machined to be actual construction components, giving a ‘real’ and more minimal feel to the sculptural aesthetics. Glass was used to reduce visual bulk to island shelving units. Whilst LED lighting, local stone and carving created a focal point at the bakery counter.
